What it looks like (video)

Video #1

This is how an attacks looks like.
We made this video to convince the doctor that I don’t have Parkinsons Disease. Without this video I am sure that I end up with the diagnosis Parkinson. A treatment as a parkinsons patient could have been devastating for me. The  Parkinsons medication could have kept me in the attack for the rest of my life……

Before I find out that it was Hypokalemic Periodic
Paralysis and didn’t know what to do about it, the condition like in the first part of the video on this page lasted for days, weeks or even months.
Now I know what it is and what I can do about it it last for one day top but mostly 6 to 8 hours.

Video #2

The next video you’ll see a HYPOPP attack  caused by my liver that releases glucose if there is to much time between meals. I normally eat something and take potassium at 03:00 AM and 06:00 AM but sometimes during the weekend I am so tired I simply sleep to long after the 06:00 AM break.
After I get out of bed I have the feeling I move slow and my face is like frozen. Mostly that’s the sign there is an attack coming but sometimes I am just fast enough to turn it the other way, this time I was to late and the attack kicked in during breakfast.

I get better in dealing and preventing attacks this one only took me  a few hours to get back on my feet again…
